FUEL
This past Thursday I got a call from work saying that Hampton Beach Casino needed a massage therapist to come and do chair massage before the concert. I said I would do it, packed my things and headed to Hampton. I was under the assumption that I would be working on the public...boy was I wrong..... When I arrived one of the stage workers came out to meet me and help me bring in all my gear. I proceeded to follow him in the building, to the stage, BEHIND the stage, and then I saw a door with a sign "FUEL" Do Not Enter! By this time I was thinking "Are you kidding me?" I was brought through the doors and I saw Brett who is the lead singer of the band. He was happy to see me (well I am sure it wasn't me, but the fact that I was a Massage Therapist) He told me he was in line first. I told him to give me a minute to set up. I worked on him as well as the other band members. It was such a fun experience, and had fun talking to all of them about the tour and such. They gave me a backstage pass so I could wander around out front and listen to other bands play and still be able to come back to their lounge/dressing area when I wanted. They invited me to stay and watch them play, but I decided not to because they were playing at 10-11:30. Rich didn't want me to be there by myself that late at night. (I don't blame him) He said he would come over if i wanted to stay, but Rich has to be to work by 5 in the morning...so i didn't want him to have to come. If only it was on a Friday or Saturday night! If I new I was going to be working on them i would've brought my Camera and asked to have a picture taken with them..... but I did take a picture of my pass. It was a fun night and a good experience....and oh yah good money!!!!

The past few weeks!
I have a lot to fit in this post and little time, but just wanted to write about the last few weeks before I forget.
Mothers Day was great! Rich took me out to dinner the night before. The food was delish! The next morning Rich let me sleep in and when I got up he had made breakfast. I was excited to get to church because I knew the children were going to be singing.....and it will be Aidan's first time singing with the primary. He didn't sing, but he stood up there in the front with a smile on his face. After they were all done singing, the children left the stand....but Aidan just stood there smiling. It was so cute. We finally went up and brought him back to our seat. In Primary the kids made these cute paper purses with chocolate in them. When Aidan handed the one he made to me he said all in the same sentence "I made this for you, can I have some?" I knew it must have been hard to make it without eating any of the chocolate himself. I will have to post picture of them later....or what's left of them. I am so grateful for my Mom and everything she has done for me. She is the most kind and giving person I have every met. (and I am not just saying that)
This past Sunday, we took Aidan to the Emergency Room. We were at Uncle Jim's house and the kids were playing in the yard. Aidan's eye started to look swollen, he said it was because he was rubbing it. He seemed fine and happy so we didn't check it out any further. Later on my Mother in law was with Aidan it the bathroom with a wet cloth over his eye and said that we should bring him to the hospital. The part around his eyeball was swollen. It looked like a ball was coming out of his eye. I had never seen this before. We brought him to the hospital they put some drops in his eye that made it orange....and then they put this special light over his eye that turned it green. (It aids in getting a better look in his eye) The doctor didn't see anything in there and said he must just be allergic to something outside. She gave him benadryl and sent us on our way. The swelling was down toward the end of the next day. So I guess it was just allergies....I just have never seem the symptoms like that before where they eye swells up under the skin.
All swollen up. He was such a good trooper and cooperated with the nurses and doctors. They kept telling us how great he was.
The swelling has gone down quite a bit in the picture but you can still kind of see the ball in the left corner of his eye. (these are all pics from my phone, surely not the best photos)The kids were wiped out from the days adventure and took a little snooze on the floor. Cameron was such a little flirt. The nurses station was right outside our room. He kept opening the door to poke his head out to smile at the nurses and then shut it, just to do it all over again. The nurses were amused by him, and couldn't get enough.

New Changes!
There are some new changes going on in the Tanguay Family. First off Rich and I are trying to live and become healthier people. I have started running again (yippee) I joined a beginners running group in Manchester. We meet every tues. and thurs. nights. It is an 8 week program and I am in week 5. At the end we will be running a 5K in Portsmouth and I am really excited to be racing again. I did a few races last season but never really got into it as much as I wanted to. My goal this year is to run the Manchester half marathon in November. This runner's group has been great! I have meet some new people who have some of the same goal as I. I get to focus on me for once and I think that is very important for women with children....or women with any kind of crazy busy life. I want to lose at least 30 lbs by Nov. Rich has been working out a little here and there with his weights in the basement. (He just told me he needs heavier weight the other day!) I will keep you posted on how our goals are coming along.
Second- Rich is starting school June 1st. I think I have posted this before but he is going for an associates degree in HVAC (heating ventilating and air conditioning) We are so excited! Although things are going to be crazy busy. Rich is also thinking about becoming a house inspector. Our Realtor said he should check into it because she thinks he would do great at the job, since he already knows a lot about it. And he could take the course on line. i am so proud of him and know he will do great in school.
Third- We have found a house!!! Finally. It isn't ours yet. It is a short sale (which means the lender is accepting less money then the amount owed on the house) This was created when the economy went south, so that people who couldn't afford the payments on their houses anymore, for whatever reason, wouldn't be foreclosed on.
So we made an offer on this house in Manchester. The sellers accepted our offer and now we are waiting to hear from the lenders. (this could take several months) We are hoping to hear by the end of the month so we can get the $8000 tax credit.
Fourth- I have gone back to work part time at my school as a licensed massage therapist. Things have been busy, but we want to save up as much as we can for the house. (if we get the house)
The boys are doing great and just loving this warm weather. We love going on walks, hikes, going to the park, and riding our bikes in the driveway.

Happy Easter part 1!
(I just found this post in my draft box...it had never been posted)
This Easter morning I felt rushed... and didn't focus on Christ or my kids as I should have. I was busy making zucchini bread and dinner rolls. We had to be over at some friends house by 9:30 to have a breakfast Easter get together....which was really fun, I just need to get better at planning and sticking to it. Does anyone else procrastinate like I do...or is it just me? Anyways here are some pictures of our morning.
It was always a tradition for the Easter Bunny to hide our baskets and have us find them in the morning. Cameron didn't seem to understand the concept, so Aidan did all the work........
....And Cameron reaped the benefits!!
yuummmmy!
So at 9:30 a bunch of us went over to friends and had breakfast, the kids played, and the kids had an Easter Egg hunt! They just loved that trampoline....I see one in our future :)
gotta find the eggs!
Daddy helping under the trampoline.

Aidan with his cute friend Ellie.
This is one of our friends Little boy Oliver doing his "plank"
Here are most of the kids that were there. Aidan is 2nd one in from the right on the top. Cameron is the 2nd one in on the bottom. Sweet Oliver was holding onto Cameron's basket. He thought he was stealing it and started to yell at him....and then proceeded to cry, which made Oliver cry. It was pretty funny. From then on he had a tight grip on that little bucket.

I realize this post is late, better late then never I guess. We had a lot of fun coloring our Easter eggs this year. It was always a tradition in my family growing up. I am so excited to continue this tradition with our children.

Plane Project
This past weekend Aidan enjoyed painting and putting together a wooden plane we bought at Michael's. He loved it!
Just sanding away!
Making grooves in the wood so when we put glue on, it will stick better!
Aidan loved using his toy hammer to make sure everyone was tight!
Daddy telling Aidan what they are going to do next.
He couldn't wait until it was finished drying so he could play with it....just look at all those colors!!!!

Our little one is growing big!
We finally got Cameron in to his 18 mo. check up last Friday. Here are his Stats. He is doing great and healthy.
LENGTH: 33 in (56 percentile)
WEIGHT: 23.75 lbs (16 percentile) - Which is a great improvement from his 12 mo. check up where he was only in the 6th percentile. Dr. Hunter isn't concerned since he is constantly gaining weight and seems to be eating all the time.
HEAD CIR.: 18.7 in. (35 percentile)
Eczema is still an ongoing problem. His hands are pretty raw right now. The other day he just kept scratching them until they bled. ( we were in the car so I didn't realize this was happening, he wasn't crying or anything) So he is always taking medicine...it's a stronger version them benadryl or the like. Dr. Hunter said we could be doing everything right, but it can still be an issue :( Poor little guy.
Aidan has had it rough this season. He is now just getting over his 3rd ear infection. The doctor isn't sure if it is a separate ear infection or it is the same one as a few weeks ago that just didn't heal completely.

Spring Time Fun!
New Hampshire experience some very unusually warm weather a few weeks ago. It was around 65 degrees, and even hit 70 one day. You better bet we took advantage of those wonderful days!
I was so excited to dress them in their vests!!! So adorable. Aidan and Cameron still insisted on wearing their winter hats even though it was plenty warm without them.

This is hilarious!
This is Cameron's new thing. It just makes us laugh so hard. Then he does it even more because we like it. He sometimes does it right before bedtime because he know that it will distract us for a little bit. He has such an amazing personality and we just love him to pieces.
