Shed

We moved the shed that Rich built from my parents house to our house.  Rich said he had some weird looks from people driving down the highway.  haha

Fire Department Open house!

We went to our town fire department open house.  We had a lot of fun and learned a lot.  They had fun activities for the kids, food, and live demonstrations.

                         Here are the kids putting out a pretend fire!  The kids loved spraying the fire hose.

 They loved playing on this "house roof."  I think they use it for training purposes.

They showed us how they literally cut a car to get someone who is trapped inside, out. The picture above is the finished project.

They showed us how a fire progresses very rapidly.  A fire doubles in size every 30 sec.  Watch this video.  We all got a little scared, but they had it under control. 

School work!

I just wanted to share this picture of Aidan.  I found him in his room doing "homework".  He was practicing his writting his letters.  I thought this was so cute!
