Happy Birthday Cameron!

Cameron turned 2 on Aug. 12th. It has been a great 2 years and we can't wait for the years to come.

Cameron, you have brought so much love, fun, and laughter to our family. We love you so much. When you were born you had so much hair. If you were a girl we could have put your hair in little pig tails. (I even tried once just to see what it would look like...don't worry no one saw) you have had such a strong personality from day one. You were going to do things your way and that was that. You loved to stay up late at night until you were well over 8 mo. and you still would wake up in the middle of the night. We tried everything the doctor said to get you on a better schedule, but nothing worked....you wanted to do things your way. O.k so we can't blame it completely on stubbornness. You have eczema really bad, which we know has affected your sleeping habits with being very uncomfortable, itchy, and sometimes even in pain because of it. And you still struggle with it today. We hope that soon your skin condition will ease up a little or disappear all together.

Just look at that hair!

The cutest dalmatian puppy ever!

You were and still are our little cuddle bug. We love it, and don't want it to change.

Sometimes your eczema would spread all over your body. We would give you oatmeal baths to sooth your skin and then apply lots of thick and greasy lotion.

You love playing out in the snow...shoveling, sledding, and playing. One day we were out there for at least 6 hrs straight. You cried when we brought you in.

You love to be outside playing with Aidan. You would stay outside all day if you could. You love to play with your big brother and do the things he does. You both play so great together. (for the most part.)

You love doing tricks and making the sounds of a snow mobile. (or any kind of machine or power tool for that matter)

You love to tell stories, and we love to listen to them. When you tell stories you are so serious about what you are talking about and your facial expressions are just priceless. You are so concerned when someone gets hurt or something happened. You just keep repeating "what happened" several times with a concerned tone, even if we have already told you what was wrong. It is so cute. You love to ask "why" to everything. If we have to keep asking you to put away your toys or do something, you eventually give up and say with an annoyed tone "alriiiiiight" It makes us laugh every time. Oh the things you say. We love you to pieces and so are so glad Heavenly Father sent you to us.

Wow, We can't believe you are already 2!!!

What's in your back yard???

We have seen a lot of Deer in our yard lately. It has been so fun to watch them play in the yard. One day there was a mommy and her 2 baby deer out there playing. We were sad when they ran back into the woods.
And for the first time we saw a fox in our yard. Aidan spotted him and called for me, I quickly grabbed the camera and was able to snap this before he disappeared. We also see a lot of squirrels, chipmunks, gofers, and other wild animals. I love living in New England!

Camping!

We had a lot of fun at our annual camping trip with Rich's family. We get the same 4 campsites every year. Each campsite has their own purpose. On Auntie Amanda, Melissa, and Scotts, we have the Croquet set up to play whenever we want. (we did a lot of it) Next to them is the main campsite where we cook and eat and just hang out. We also have the horse shoes set up there as well. Next to them is where Mom and Dad Tanguay sleep as well as uncle Paul. The next campsite over is ours. (it's also the short cut to the bathrooms) We had a lot of fun even though it did rain the whole 2nd day we were there. We really wanted to go to the beach that day. We decided to play croquet instead. (yes in the rain) The catch was...if you wanted to play, you had to do so in your bathing suit. It was a blast, and was kind of fun to see people slow down when they drove by, to see what the heck we were doing.

I was a little nervous that Cameron wouldn't nap with all the excitement that went on during the day. But he always got some sort of a nap, whether it was for 1hr or 2.

We had clams one day. Aidan loved them!!!

Another nap..this time with Pappy in the hammock.

They played in boxes too.

I think the only person Cameron wouldn't nap for is me. I brought him to the hammock to sleep...he wanted to do anything but. Looks like I could have used the nap.

Aidan and Cameron loved hitting the balls around too.

We had so much fun, and the kids loved that they were outside all day long.

We finally got to the beach on our last full day there. The kids had a blast making a castle with Uncle Paul.

The whole gang laying out. (minus the kids and me)

We had a great time and can't wait to go back next year!

Bye NH, Hello Georgia...

....Not us of coarse, but sadly my parents packed up and moved to Georgia a few weeks ago. We have enjoyed living with them the last year and a half. The kids especially enjoyed it. They pretty much got as much attention as they wanted. They loved to follow their uncles around and do what they were doing. We are so sad they are gone, but can't wait for the new memories and adventures we will make when we come to visit them.

Aidan and Cameron loved to roll things down the truck ramp.

My parents were supposed to leave really early in the morning to start their 2 day drive down to Georgia...luckily for us they ended up leaving just after we woke up and we got to say goodbye one more time.

We love you guys and miss you every day!

Happy 4th Birthday Aidan!

I just wanted to write about our sweet 4 year old boy. I can't believe he is FOUR!!! In a year from now he will be starting kindergarten...that just blows my mind. Below are some pictures over the last 4 years.

Aidan you were such a cute BIG baby boy. (9lbs 5oz) all the nurses and doctors couldn't get over how big you were. The first thing out of the doctors mouth was "he's a moose" none the less everyone in the maternity ward commented on how you were one of the most beautiful babies they had ever seen. You had the most perfect round head. (the nurses also commented on that) We just couldn't believe how beautiful and precious you were. (and still are) You were a great baby and sometimes I just sat for hours holding you and trying grasp the fact that you were really ours.

This is my FAVORITE picture of you and daddy in the hospital. This is so sweet and I will remember it forever.

You ere a very happy baby. It didn't matter where we went or what we did, you were always so happy and content with what we did. I could take you to the store...you would walk right beside me holding on to the cart. People would comment on how great you were. I was so proud of you.

You loved this owl at Grandma and Grandpa McGoverns house. You loved to play with it every time we visited. You would talk and touch it.

When you were 8 Months old. Mommy and Daddy were sealed together for time and for all eternity. The next day you were sealed to us. It was very cold....and the temple had been shut down because of a big snow storm. The Temple opened it just for us. G&G Jones were able to take time off their mission to be there. They took you into the nursery while mommy and daddy got ready for you to meet up with us. Later you joined us, you were wearing this little white suit and was so beautiful. During the sealing you were so good and just sat there with your hand on ours. It was one of the best moments in our lives. We are so thrilled that we can be together forever. Just thinking about this experience brings tears to my eyes all over again.

Sometimes you would sleep in the silliest and most awkward positions....it just made us laugh.

(ok....so there was a little help from daddy on this one...but you slept through it and it was just to funny and cute)

You love your zebra printed blanket (which was mine) You would drag that thing everywhere. It had tassels along the edge that you would sniff and rub against your nose. It was so cute. You sometimes still do those things when your tired and need some comfort.

You helped daddy put your toddler bed together and was so excited to sleep in it that night. This is a picture of your first night in your bed. You were so proud of all the work you did to put it together.

You love your brother. When he was a baby you tried to take care of him in anyway you could. When he would cry you would grab his binky, blanket, toy, or anything you thought would make him happy.
We asked you recently what you thought about having another brother or sister someday. You replied.."NO, I want Cameron....I like Cameron" You thought having another brother or sister would mean giving up Cameron...and you did not want to do that. Neither would we.

We love your smile. You love to tell stories. We love to listen to them and watch you act them out. We love the way your lips move as you talk. You are so cute and we are so blessed to have you as our son. Happy Birthday Buddy!

4th of July!

Yes I realize this happened a month ago. Things have been crazy....so be prepared to be bombarded with posts over the next few days! :)

We had a great 4th. We went to the Merrimack high school to watch the fireworks...the kids had a blast running around and playing before the show started. (I didn't take any pictures of that) I did manage to get some good ones of the fireworks though.

Aidan was so anxious and excited about them...but once they actually started...the were to loud for him and he wanted to go home. We started asking him what colors he saw in the sky...that help and took his attention off the noise.
