Jason's Graduation!

My brother Jason graduated from high school this year! I am so happy for him. He had to give a speech and he did awesome! Here are a few pics!

First Race of the season!

In an earlier post I talked about joining a runners training group! Well I finished and we raced at the end of May. It was a lot of fun. Below is a picture of most of our group. I am pretty much smack dab in the middle. It was a huge race with thousands of runners....I didn't even get to the starting line until over a minute after the gun went off.

Since this race I have run another 5k (3.1 miles) on my old Cross Country course I ran in high school. It's one of the most challenging courses here in new England. I am glad I did it....but my time was pathetic. I did a lot of reminiscing. My Best friend Crystal did xc in highschool with me. So I was definitely missing her on this race, and wished she was there to run it with me.

I also just ran a 5.2 mile race this past Saturday, it was a last minute decision. I have only ran that distance twice this season, while in training for the 5k. But I thought heh, why not??? I am really happy with my time, considering the lack of training for it. I did it in 1hr 8 min.

1st goodbyes!

A couple of months ago, one of Aidan's best friends moved away. He was so sad, and still talks about him here and there. Especially if we are going to a play date, he will say "but Heber won't be there...will he? Because he moved far away!" They were such good friends and played very well together. When Rich and I were living at washington park we got together every Monday for F.H.E, so we became good friends with Hebers parents as well. At least we were able to get together one last time.
