How to catch a Thief

So Jason's Ipod was stolen at school a couple of weeks ago. There are only about 50 kids in his school. Aunt Cathy gave it to him as a Christmas gift, and had it engraved on the back. Jason finally came to terms that he would never get this back. So a few day ago he decided to price out another ipod on walmart and Amazon. (I think he decided he was going to get it from walmart) But he decided to look one more place for one. CRAIGS LIST....he found what looked like his. There were pictures posted of it. Same color and on the back there was a big scratch on it. the kid said there were originally some words on there, but he just scratched them out. He had an e-mail on there to contact him by...it had his name and his birth year. Jason's school is in concord....this kid was from concord....hmmmm very interesting. We called the school to let them know we thought we found it. They checked it out and found that that e-mail did in fact belong to one of the kids at school. They contacted his parents. Jason is going to get his old ipod back plus a new one with the exact words that were engraved on the back. YAY. The school had also found on craigslist some other items that had be stolen from other kids at school, so they will be able to get their things back as well.

Shopping with a 3 year old!

So yesterday I had to run a few errands in Nashua...I had to pick up a tux for Aidan to wear and a dress for me to wear at Rob and Kristal wedding. 1st we picked up Aidan's tux. This wasn't too hard, it was just more of a hassle getting the stroller out, and getting both kids out of the car. ( which I am used to doing) But Aidan was all upset because he wanted to sit in the stroller. Cameron was sleeping so I really needed to put him in there. We managed to pick up the tux with just a little fussiness from the both of them ( Cameron woke up as soon as we got inside the store) I get them both in the car and drive to the mall for some dress shopping. I had a few dresses picked out when Aidan told me he had to go to the bathroom. I drop the dresses at the registers, find to the elevator to the bottom floor and run to the bathroom with Aidan and Cameron in the stroller. We go back upstairs so I can finish shopping, and go to try on the dresses. Half way through trying on dresses Aidan apparently needs to go to the bathroom....again. I was thinking "you just went, but ok let's hurry" so I get dressed and run back downstairs. We return back up so can finish up trying on the dresses, when he has to go again. are you kidding me???? After that we buy one of the dresses, and he has to go..... again. 4 TIMES TOTAL. And he peed a lot every time. I don't' remember him drinking so much that would make him need to go that many times. I wanted to check out a few more stores to see if I could find something I liked more. But I was so worn out dragging him and the stroller up and down 4 times. It's times like these I wish I could just put a diaper on him all over again. lol

Aidan's First Crush!

Aidan has a huge crush on Alysia. She is Diego's sister on the nickelodeon cartoon "Go Diego go." When she comes up on the t.v he gets all shy and has this little smirk on his face. Throughout the day he will ask about her and what she is doing. It is hilarious. Then he'll say "I love her mommy, I love Alysia." It just cracks me up.

Sorry for the lack of post...there just hasn't been much going on here to blog about. I did however forget to post Cameron's 9 month Stats. He now is 10 months old, and is starting to stand on his own. Yay!!

Cameron hasn't gained much weight since his 6 mo check up. The doctor isn't to concerned at this point, but we have a weight check scheduled this coming up week just to make sure he is doing ok. It seems like he is always eating, so it's not like I'm not feeding him enough. And he has the chubbiest thighs. hehe We just love it!!

Memorial Weekend!

We had a great busy weekend. I had a bridal shower to go to sat. My brother in law is getting married in June!!! Below is a cute picture of them. Rob and Kristal. We are so excited for them. They are such a cute couple. I love this little saying I bought for them. (Kristal is holding it) it says "Always kiss me goodnight" I just had to get it for them. We are so excited to have her in our family!!

That same day we had our annual "Jimonna fest" is what we call it. Uncle Jim and Monna host memorial party for family and friends every year. It starts Saturday and ends Monday. Some people set up tents and spend the nights, and others like Rich and I go home at night, since we live to close. Some people come for 1 day and others stay for the whole time. It is such a fun time. Every year someone brings someone new, so there is always someone new to meet. it's a very fun and laid back party. They have many games/activities set up such as horseshoes, croquet, badminton Frisbee, etc. here are some of the pictures and of course, there aren't any of me because I am always the one behind the camera...o-well.

Officially a "potty go-er!!"

Ya y Aidan finally went #2 on the potty today, which finally means he is potty trained. hallelujah. I am so proud of him. He told me he had to go to the bathroom, and I said OK go. Next thing I know he came running in to me to tell me that he did it, and wanted me to see. I can't tell you how excited I was. We were screaming and dancing with joy for like 5 min!! Haha yup i am a little corny. Sorry if many of you didn't want to hear all of this, but I use blogging as my journal as well. YAY AIDAN!!!!

I also forgot to blog about Aidan getting his first tick bite. Rich put him on the toilet a couple Saturdays mornings ago. Aidan started to complain about his bum being sore. When Rich checked it out he saw little legs moving around. Poor Aidan. Luckily we caught it in time, and he is in good health.

More Teeth

I just have to post that Cameron has two more teeth!!! That makes 6. There's 4 on top and two on the bottom. Yay!....although I think nursing is coming to an end soon. Let me just say one word *OUCH* But he is sooo cute with all of his teeth. Pics to come.

Touch a Truck!

This past weekend we went to an event at the mall of N.H called touch a truck. I think it was to raise money for the children's foundation...or something like that. But we had fun. Basically there were firetrucks, police cars, limos, tractors, and more that the kids could sit in and check things out. It was really noisy with kids honking horns and turning on sirens. Aidan get nervous in places with a lot of noise and people, but warmed up to it and had a blast.

I was doing the dishes when I looked down and saw that Cameron had crawled onto the dishwaser door. So cute. Aidan thought it was pretty funny too.

Potty Training update!!

Aidan is doing alright with it. He seems to have lost intrest in it, and it's like pulling teeth to get him on the potty. But when he's done he gets an M&m, so he loves that part. Does anyone know how long potty training is supposed to take??? It will be nice when I only have to buy one set of diapers. I guess he'll get there eventually. Oh and if any of you have any suggestions...please let me know.

Cameron is doing great. Although he is only down to one nap a day. Yikes!! and sometimes it's just a quick 15 min thing. But at least he is only waking up once a night now. He is such a different baby then Aidan was. Aidan was sleeping through the night by 4 months and having sleepovers at grandparents houses. Now Aidan doesn't nap at all. Where my free time go???? Cameron is as active as ever and loves to crawl with his big brother. He is great at pulling himself up into a standing position and can do it against the wall with nothing to fully get a grasp on. As he is getting older him and Aidan are playing more together. It is so much fun to see them play and laugh and giggle together...I hope this lasts.

Potty Training!

Yes, Aidan has finally started to use the "potty" He started yesterday and seems to understand everything!!! I am not brave enough to put him in underwear, so for now he is in pull-ups. I am so proud of him!

well over due

I can't believe this is the first video I have posted of Cameron crawling. He has been crawling since mid march. He is really fast and crawling over anything he can. He loves crawling over Aidan. They have so much fun crawling together. Cameron is really great at pulling himself up to a standing position and walking along the couch and other objects. We think he may be walking early....he was in the middle of the room and he tried to stand up. He doesn't have that stability yet..but he'll get there. We just love how active he is.
