GRASS DRAGS!!!

Grass drags are a huge event for snow mobile fans! It has the same kind of feel that a fair would have. If that makes any sense? They have all the same food vendors and tents and such, set up to browse and buy things if you wish. So the grass drags are where the snow mobiles "sleds" race on the grass. (I actually never got any photos of that) They also have a little kids race. We thought it might be fun to have Aidan race in a couple of years. (they don't go very fast)
There is also a race they do in the water. The thing is...if you start to slow down...you sink. And then the tow boat has to tow the sled out. Below is a video, to give you an Idea...you may want to turn you volume down! And you don't have to watch the whole thing...it won't hurt my feelings. I just didn't know exactly how to edit it. But if you want to watch a guy sink you may want to watch the whole thing..it's only a minute or so long.

This guy was lucky. Some parts of this pond are deep, so you could only see the head of the rider that sunk. His snow mobile was completely under water. The scary thing is he has to wait for the race to be finished before he is rescued. Last year one man was run over during the race because he wasn't seen by the other riders.

This is the "tow boat" that pulls the snow mobile out of the water!

The stunt show! This was awesome to watch. Basically the same thing you would see on motorcycle stunts, but these men were using snow mobiles. It was amazing to watch some of the tricks they were doing.

What a cutie. He was a little tired, I don't think it even phased him that I took this picture.

Just chillaxin watching the races....he loved every minute of it.

It was crazy windy and cold that day, but we had so much fun.

Aidan wanted to take this snow mobile home since it was his size. Maybe in a couple years

Rich really wanted this 4-wheeler. It was really nice.

Auntie Amanda, Aidan, and Mona. Amanda really wanted this sled.

Just a video of the sleds doing jumps!
