Easter!

Easter morning was kind of crazy.  We have Church at 9, so between Easter baskets, breakfast, and getting ready for Church our morning was kind of crazy.  We talked to the kids about Christ and his atoning sacrifice on the way to Church.  Aidan was so cute..."He's ALIVE?!?!?!, Let's go see him!" 

This year the Easter bunny knew Aidan and Cameron needed new lunch boxes, so instead of the usual baskets, he filled the lunch boxes with Easter goodies!  the kids thought it was cool.  He also brought them the movie "how to train a dragon.'  The love that movie.

After Church we headed over to Grandma and Pappy's house.  The kids got more Easter candy, toys, and coloring books.  And of course don't forget the Easter egg hunt!

Nice weather

The Weather is getting warmer, and we are loving it. I just love playing outside with the kids, and watching them play with each other. They have the best imaginative play.

This is under the slide.  They love pretending they are at a restaurant.  They take orders and prepare the food.  "May I take your order?" "Sorry we ran out, would you like something else?"

They both have their power wheel jeeps, but i am so glad they still like to get out on pedel bikes to play as well.

I don't remember when this was.  Cameron was so tired that he fell asleep during family prayer one night.  I just love this picture!!

First Dentist appointment!

Cameron had his first teeth cleaning.  He loved sitting in the big chair....but he didn't want to let go of the banana.

He was such a trooper.  The dental hygienist couldn't believe how great he did....sitting still in the chair, opening his mouth wide, and doing anything else she needed him to do!  Good job buddy!!!

Family Visit!

My Dad, Mom, and brothers Jason and Ryan came to visit for a week!  We had a lot of fun spending time together.  These are the only pictures I took.  Oops.  It was so nice having them back, and the kids were so excited to have them here.  It was just like old times.  1 week was definitely not enough time.

But it wasn't all fun.  They also came out to remodel the main bathroom...can you tell why????  haha

We had some extra Church manuals so we gave them to the kids.  One day they sat down and were "reading" them to each other.  Or at least babbling about something.  The movie is long....I didn't do any editing.  So feel free to just watch some, all, or not even watch it at all.  :)  I mostly posted it because I knew a lot of my family would like watching it. 

St. Patty's Day

We had fun this St. Patrick's day. It's the first year we really even celebrated it as a family. Aidan learned all about it in school. The leprechauns even came to their school over night and left them surprises!

I don't remember what I made for the main part of the meal, but we had green sour cream to go on our baked potatoes, asparagus, green jello, and green shakes for desert.

Preschool.

Aidan had a little preschool party. Aidan is the second one in from the left. The boys showed us what they have been learning in the boys "movement class" such as somersaults, rolling, jumping, and other fun things. The girls did a little ballet dance. It was so cute.

They were also learning a song to sing for us for valentines day. I just love his little hand movements.

Sledding

We sure had fun this winter sledding in the back yard. The boys loved racing down to see who could get to the bottom first. Aidan loved going down the side with all the "bumpy parts"

Ice Party!

Every year Rich's uncle has a party on the lake. We always have a blast. Family and Friends come to hang out, eat food, ride snow mobiles and just hang out. Every year they bring the grill out so we can grill whatever people bring to eat. This year they also brought out a couch, so people could just sit and relax. (I thought I had a picture of it, but couldn't find it. I also realized I didn't take many picture at all...oops!)

Aidan had a blast playing ice hockey with his 3rd cousin Chase.

Rich's cousin recently had a baby. Cameron enjoyed feeding him. It was so cute! He didn't even want me to help him hold the bottle. "I do it Mom!" He took this job very serious. It was just to precious.

Aidan had fun playing monopoly with a friend.

We Love Snow!

We love to play in the snow... and we got a lot of it this winter. As much as I like playing in the snow, I am glad it is melting. I am exciting to play outside without having to bundle these cute munchkins up and having extra mittens and tissues on hand. It will be nice to just walk outside and play. This is what we have been up to lately!

We have this fun little creek in our back yard. We like to throw snow in it and what it how fast in floats down. .

Hard at work putting the arms in! My boys just love playing out in the cold. Last winter we spent hours outside one day. We even had snack and lunch out there. If it weren't for a cold mommy these kids would stay out there all day.
